O Fluminense ainda briga pela vice-liderança do Campeonato Brasileiro. Mesmo assim, a diretoria tricolor já vem se planejando para 2023. A primeira notícia deve ser a saída do atacante Matheus Martins. O jogador está perto de ser negociado com a Udinese, da Itália.
Segundo a imprensa carioca, os tricolores vão receber nove milhões de euros (R$ 45 milhões) por Matheus Martins.

Com parte do dinheiro da venda de Matheus, o Fluminense pretende adquirir a totalidade dos direitos econômicos de Jhon Arias.
